Reveal Yourself!

1. Leave one memory that you and I have had together as a comment on this post. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot--just leave a comment about anything you can remember!

2. Next, copy and paste these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

If you're just a "blog stalker" that I don't know very well, please use this as an excuse to comment and say hello!

I don't have a blog for you to comment on but I will comment on yours. I have so many memories with you that I really can't just choose one. Instead I will leave an impression of you that has showed itself over and over again....and that is your devotion to family! I don't know if I have ever met anyone who put so much into maintaining extended family ties. The phone calls, the visits, the notes in the mail, remembrances....it all adds up. Everyone I know adores you, as do I. When I count my blessings, I guess I just have to count you twice!

Well, this isn't so much a memory with you as a memory of you. You are always so good at remembering my birthday and sending me an e-card. I guess it helps that is just so happens to be your birthday as well, but I still appreciate it. I love the random other ones we get throughout the year as well.

A memory that pops into mind is when Karra was in the hospital having Cameron. She had a business meeting in her room. It was one of the funniest things I have seen. Three people in business attire and Karra in her hospital bed. She never stops. She just gives, gives, gives. Even when it isn't convenient for her she keeps on giving. And that is one example and memory that proves it.
I'll think of more and post them later. Allen and I just drove by your old office in Orem and it made me think of this one.

Luffa!

My memory is that you were my claim to fame. When you had Cameron and your sisters had babies as well, I would tell people all the time that you had been on Oprah. I guess it made me feel special. so thanks!

Two memories immediately popped into mind...The first when you visited Utah and we were driving around on my scooter (we were about 16) and I totally ran the red light by provo high and about a million cars (luckily) all waited and honked and we laughed hysterically at our "stupidity". (I think back on this one now and CRINGE as a 39 year old. We could have been killed!!!!)

The 2nd is when you and all your sisters were pregnant and I was laying in bed watching Jay Leno and he cracked a joke about how "Clinton" must have vistited Utah or something like that because 3 sisters had had babies the same day! And I KNEW that had to be you! It was confirmed the next day when I called you to check and I had to be "screened" to talk to you! :)I have 29 years worth of memories with you and they're all great. Keep up the goal for your 40th and can I PLEASE borrow your scale sometime?! ;) Betsy
